Medical insurance system (MIS) is an important part of social security, and it is one of the national basic economic system. With the personal account of medical insurance being set up, the traditional submitting method of medical fee by man-made can not meet the requirement of the medical insurance operate unit To adapt the medical insurance reform and satisfy the social-management request of medical insurance management, it is very necessary to develop a feasible medical insurance information management system(MIIMS).Medical insurance operation system is very complicated. According to the operation's characters and real condition of Henan oilfield, we have developed a complete MIIMS and realized a modernized, standardised, automatic and scientific management of MIIMS in Heanan oilfield in term of feasible principle and future long-term layout and in the center of current MI operation.The main content of MIIMS includes as follows: the network construction layout of MI on computer network system; the software development and application of MI operation management. This paper begins with operation analysis of MI, and illuminates completely the importance of setting up MIIMS, the application point and the objective of information consideration. It presents a program for the local-area network construction of the MIMS, and analyzes the system framework, network design, OS database selection, data copy scheme, security, system setup. On the basis of these, it discusses the developping process of the medical insurance application software, and reserches its system construction, functional modules, datebase design, and processing algorithms. Finally, it realizes a complete medical insurance information system.
