The Middleware Distributed Application

As the rapid development of computer technologies, the hardware of computer is focus on the speed of CPU which is becoming faster than before. Meanwhile, the software is becoming more complicated than before. Especially with the appearance of Internet and WWW, the application of computer is broader than before. Many programs have to be applied in Internet. The whole things that are mentioned above make a new request for the new generation software developing.As one of the three mainstay of basic framework of software system, Middleware, Operation System and DBMS (Database Manage System) run neck and neck. Middleware that has become a kind of absolutely necessarily important basic platform is intituled as the key supporting software of the development, deploying and running of big network application system.COM+, which is supported by Microsoft, is the most absolutely necessary middleware in the development of distributed network application based on Windows Operating System.The COM+ technology, which is designed by Microsoft, focus on the development of distributed network, at the same time, which is a necessary part of developing the distributed application based on Windows Operation System.This thesis mainly discusses how to develop the distributed program based on the COM+ technology. They are shown as the following:1) The evolvement of COM+, and the basic structure of COM+.2) The service which was provided by COM+, includes the object pooling, Just-in-Time Activation, Transaction , Security , Queued Components and Events Service etc.3) In order to demonstrate the functions of components having beendeveloped, C#, ASP. NET, Web framework and Ado.net database accessing have been introduce simply.4) The components in Flybooks' intermedia fulfill business appearance, business rule, business database accessing.5) The example FlyBooks application in the thesis emphasizes to resolve the communication between client computer, database server and the server of component. At the same time, the thesis revealed how to develop distributed B/S mode application based on COM+ component which is security, high-power, easy maintenance and easy deploying. In the process of developing the application, the efficient and retractility of the distributed application is also took into account.6) At last, the thesis prospects the future of middleware according to the development of application software, and account for some deficiencies in the research.
