The Study Of Computer 3-D Digital Visualization

With the development of computer technology and increasing advancement of computer application, computer three-dimensional digital visualization has been developed and become a relatively new research field. The main studies of computer three-dimensional digital visualization consist of three-dimensional graphics, image display and processing in computer, modeling of graphics and the arithmetic of graphics and image, etc. It not only enhances the speed and quality of information processing, but also leads to the true digital world. In the paper, based on three-dimensional digital visualization research of body, the body data are acquired through the laser scanning system and dealt with in computer, and the reproduction and reconstruction of body are also completed in computer. It is widely used in body measurement, pattern recognition, medical plastic, figure research, costume design, act according to actual circumstance, fitting by internet and also other aspects. The main works in this paper are following:First introducing the structure and the theory of the laser scanning system designed by our laboratory , then carrying on theoretic analysis of data segmentation and data compression, also doing the simulation in computer by the data format based on the laser scanning system.The three-dimensional reconstruction arithmetic is researched. The methods of the nearest diagonal, the most volume and the synchronous advancement of contour lines are analyzed and compared. The simulation experiments for the three-dimensional display and reconstruction by using the synchronous advancement of contour lines are carried out.The segmentation and compression of body data acquired from the laser scanning system are finished. The body reconstruction using VC++ and OpenGL is also carried out in computer. The three-dimensional model combination in computer based on above also has been accomplished.
