Recently, advances in semiconductor devices materials and related control technologies may enable production of low cost power electronics with dramatically reduced size. To make full use of these developments, the concept of an intelligent power module has evolved called the Power Electronic Building Block (PEBB), which is a universal OOP-based scalable power electronics control device that delivers high quality, digitally synthesized electric power for multiple applications.The concept of PEBB bases on the aim of PNP(Plug and Play) standardization reusable reconfigurable and flexibility so that can put it into amounts of production. As a result, this procedure can lower the cost of power electronics device.On the base of investigating a number of references, the thesis put forward the conceptional summarization to the Power Electronic Building Block (PEBB) system. The thesis also analyzes the former corresponding solutions and then analyzes the distribution characters in terms of the functional architecture. We can get the definite classification to the control architecture of the whole system. Finally the thesis ascertains the solution to the communication protocol. Taking the three-phase VSI as example, I give the detailed project by establishing the function definition the HM (Hardware Manager) and the AM (Application Manager) and its implementation. At last I investigate the solution to the upper network communication protocol.According to the distributed hardware system, I propose a set of novelty control software, which is based on the ideas of ECO (Elementary Control Object) and dataflow architecture. On the whole, I accomplish the whole construction of the whole system includinghardware and software.In the last section, I take some discussion in the improvement of the reliability and speed and etc so that propose the further work.
