Study On The Simulation Of LED Lighting System And Its Software Development

LED lamp is one kind of new lamps, which uses the LED as light source. The simulating system of LED lighting is a computer aided simulating software system based on computer graphics. This simulating system is applied mainly for LED markets, to help customers to use LED lamp easily and save the time of designing LED lighting system. The author studies the simulation of LED lighting system and develops its software from following aspects in detail.1. According to the theories about lighting optics and simulation system, the principles of LED simulation system and its main modules have been researched. The system consists of three modules: LED light library, interactive interface design and simulation algorithm.2. Base on the object-oriented theory of software engineering, one object-oriented model of LED lamp is presented. Lamp database is used for the fundament of LED simulating system in the designing of LED lighting system. And the author has developed one kind of LED lamp database.3. Some of computer graphics related to lighting simulation are discussed in detail. From the discussion, simulation algorithm is chosen for meeting the need of developing lighting simulation system.4. By means of reusing software, the principle and method of choosing developing software platform are studied. Then combined with the situation of the enterprise, the key techniques in the application of LED lighting simulating system are analyzed and simulating results of this system are treated appropriately.Finally, the conclusion and the developing trend on LED light simulation research and development are put forward.
