Study And Realization Of Information Monitoring System In Distributed Computer Wide Area Network

What that this thesis designs and realizes is a kind of network information monitoring system based on platform of WAN according to the actual demand of the administrative department of network security. The system adopts C/S mode, and includes the network system and application software system. This system is a tool to monitor and manage the network information flow in real-time, which is suitable for those networks, such as those used in important department, the sensitive position, large and medium-sized enterprises, and etc. The system is used to monitor various kinds of network applications( such as email, http, ftp, telnet, etc.). It mainly intercept and capture the data in the network and perform monitoring, tracing, recording and auditing illegal information,obscene information, reactionary information,harmful information and the divulgence of the information involving secrete. The system can carry out information filtering, analyzing and tracing according to the tactics module that the user stipulated, and different alarms and responses according to the monitoring and analyzing tactics which the user define or according to the characters content which includes the key word that the user define. The author participate the whole course of subject designing and studying as the organizer and main researcher. At present, the system has already been used in real work and functioned well.
