Local Field Potential (LFP) is a general reflection of electrical activities in the cortical layer. EEG can embodies in not only organisms'health condition, but also the complex psychological and physiological condition. The research on EEG is very important to clinical remedy.With the universal of computer technology, the brain-computer interface(BCI) system has become the main method of researching LFP. In order to analyze final result, the EEG needs to be gathered, handled, and displayed. BCI research has drawn attention of scientists in the rehabilitation engineering, biomedical engineering and human machine automatic control.On the basic of studying the white rat's LFP characteristic, we design the analysis methods of LFP. We choose the LFP collected from the white rat brain as the subject, emphatically analyz the changing in the time-frequency when the white rat are grasping,etc. After comparing the short-time Fourier transform, the Fourier transform, wavelet transform in the experience, we think the wavelet transform has more advantages in eeg signals processing field. The algorithm was run in the Matlab software which filtered and made spectral analysis of the data uploaded to PC. The result shown in the Matlab intuitively.For the cross-correlation of M1 and PPC. Here we design a simple, model-independent method to estimate directionality and lag using LFP collecting from M1 and PPC.With lots of experiments and failure, we finally gain the result in the lab. It can display the steady signal waveform in Matlab, which is the satisfied result and with great consulted value and application value.
