Design And Implement Of A Data Exchange System Based On XML Techology To Bridge Heterogeneous Databases

In the processing of Internet development,database technology has been widely used.With the development of E-commerce among business websites,the data exchange among heterogeneous databases is increasingly frequently used.The newly XML has gradually shown its advantage while storing data and exchanging data and become a data format standard of platform insensitivity and producer insensitivity.Through XML interface offered to the current different database system in business websites ,the visit to databases in any platform can be implemented.With the help of XML,the visit result can be put out to other platforms in the form of XML and the information exchange is implemented among hetergeneous databases.In this paper,a concept for Internet data exchang among hetergeneous databases system using XML middleware is proposed. In the prototype,A middleware using XML technology is constructed between the client(or Browse)and Database server ,The communication between database server and the middleware is based on the XML information and interface.By means of the JDBC interface,we can transporently access hetergeneous databases system.And using XML information that is expressed in a structure,text-based format,we can describe the database information more accuratetly in a general format.At the same time,in order to describe the structure of XML files more clearly,the transpormation from schema has been realized.The implementation of middleware is Java Servlet technology-based.by extracting from data and structure of the database to XML data the information of database become lucid and is suitable to Internet data exchange.In the processing of writing XML data into database,the constraint of the database has been considered so as to ensure the correct update of database information.There are six chapters in this paper.THE concept of hetergensous databases and the importance of data exchange among hetergeneousdatabases are illustrated in the first chapter.The adopted technology ofhetergeneous databases exchange is introduced in the second chapter.and the idea exploring XML implementing hetergeneous databases exchange is proposed.The development of XML and its application are reviewed and the relation of the logical structure of XML and DTD and Schema is analyzed in the third chapter.The structure of the system exploring middleware tecknology implementing data exchange among hetergeneous databases is investigated in the fifth chapter.Conclusion is given in the sisth chapter as a summary for this paper.
