With the continuous introduction of the products of CRM in logistic companies, it is important for the development of logistic companies to mine useful information when facing quantities of data.In this paper, Data Mining technology and its application in CRM of logistic field are discussed in detail. Classification is one of the most important branches of data mining research works. Target of classification is to find out a classification model. The model can map a single record in database to a pre-assumed class. In all of the classification arithmetic, decision tree is a technique which is in common use and easy to comprehend.SLIQ (Supervised Learning In Quest) algorithm is a fast and scalable classification algorithm for decision tree by IBM Almaden Research Center in 1996. It uses a novel pre-sorting technique to build a decision tree fast and accurately when the records of training set are too large to fit in memory and resident in the disk. In the example of this paper used this algorithm.According to the business processes, requirements and data in the field of logistic, as an application example in this paper, analysis subjects are created, at the same time, the information package of each subject is constructed. On the base of the data accumulated in CRM, data mining databases are created. In our research, SLIQ is used to construct data mining models of different analysis subjects, Visual C++ 6.0 and SQL Server 2000 are adopted as development tools to implement this. These models are generally called decision tree models. During these models, the old data are analyzed, and the new data are forecasted.
