Distributed component model has many advantages such as platform-independent, language-independent, expansibility. So the interoperability based on different distributed componets is a very important characteristic in enterprise applications. At present, the main distributed component standards-DCOM and CORBA need definite and congeneric framework between server and client, this phenomenon results in difficult interoperability between different distributed components. Most of the productions which keep to CORBA standard have solved the interoperability between DCOM objects and CORBA objects comparatively. But these productions still have some shortages such as slow efficiency, complexity in realization and bad expansibility.SOAP is a communication protocol of distributed components based on XML and it has many merits such as simpleness, language-independence and expansibility. It provides a feasible way for the interoperability between DCOM and CORBA. In this paper, we bring forward and realize a scheme which uses SOAP as communication protocol between them. The research indicates that the scheme using SOAP protocol can integrate component objects in horizontal levels with transparent access. In this paper, firstly the SOAP protocol is briefly introduced, then we bring forward a communication framework of distributed components based on SOAP and research on the specific realization technologies, (1) Serializer/Deserializer (2) design and application of General complex type (3) conversion of WSDL format (4)configuration of WSML file. Based on these studies, one testing instance is followed. The conclusion of the research and the direction of further study are pointed out in the last part of this paper.
