An advanced study of the influences for SAR image of receiver's gain-and-phase errors is presented in this paper. Because the performance of analogue receiver is not good, the gain-and-phase errors of receivers are generated, which badly affected the image of SAR. The higher is the resolution for image, the deeper study in the field is needed. This is the main purpose to this dissertation.Firstly, in this paper, the applied structure of analogue receivers is presented. Then several main technology indexes are studied. Based on the components of analogue receivers, all kinds of influences on the signal from all kinds of components are given, then the influences on the result of pulse compression from the quadrature demodulators is focused on. Several processing algorithms up to now have been studied, which are used for the real data calibration. Compared to analogue receivers, digital receivers have many advantages. The Chapter 4 firstly deals with the principle of the digital receiver, then the components and the requirements of them are studied. At last, some problems of the project are listed.In the end, the principle of multi-channels equalization is studied. According to the performance of gain-and-phase errors in the receivers, a simple and efficient method is put forward.
