Human face Detection's object is to find all the faces in the input image if it exists. The input image of a face detection system is a image maybe includes some faces, and the output of system is a series of parameter as whether there has a face and the number, place, size, inclination angle of these faces. As it is the first step of person identify. human-computer interface , search by content, intelligent scene supervision and control system, The efficiency and accuracy of its algorithm will influence the follow-up operation and the whole system .The thesis works over the algorithm efface detection in color image. First we discuss the skin's performance in difference chrominance space in the discussion of skin color model. During the Statistics of some sample skin we can build the skin color model and using the morphological process select the candidate region. Then the candidate region can be validated by the eigenface method. Using this method we can not only ensure the accuracy of the detection but get over the defect of eigenface method's long time search as a pyramid. Further in the thesis we bring forward a modified deformable template for eyes detection and get the mouth region by making use of the mouth's performance in colorspace., it also be proved in the exam and represent a good result. In the end of the thesis, bring forward some suggestions about how to expand the detection system and the follow-up operation as face recognition.
