Study Of Iris Recognition

Iris recognition, a new kind of biological characteristic recognition, is showing its great advantages in people's lives and jobs with the development of technology. The characteristics of one's iris keep steady and is one and only. The capturing of iris image is non-invasive, and issues of iris possess the characters of living issues on account of the zooming process of pupil.The image capturing system, image transmission system and image recognition system are expatiated in this paper. Mechanical instrument of iris capturing system and CMOS image sensor are described. The data are transmitted by USB interface. After processing image including preprocessing, edge detection, curving fitting and iris division, picking up characteristics of iris by Gabor filter, judging iris's outcome by Hamming distance. Experimental results show the approach speediness and feasibility.Introducing some kinds of iris recognition system, then compares their advantages and disadvantages. Brings forward my iris recognition based on the above result. Analyze the pattern recognition of the paper.
