Research Of Resource Shared Technology For Heterogeneous Systems

Today, the interconnect and share of information on the heterogeneous environment have been becomed the focus of development in information technology . In order to shield the heterogeneous which the integration system has to face,many methods have been brought forward, such as database gateway, ODBCetc. But all these methods do not work very well due to lacking of standardization. Most of the research in this field is theoretic, it is difficult to implement the system and manage the system, and hard to become commodity.Distributed Object Technology had been put forward in 1990. It has had rapid development to become the core one in buiding system integration frames and standard components. It also plays a important role in the integration of enterprise resources, the management of distributed system and the technology of software components. Many cooperation standards had been published,represented by OMG CORBA and Microsoft COM/DCOM/COM+. CORBA has better performance than others in cross-platform and extensibility,it is also good at integrating existed system. Becouse of these performance, using CORBA to integrate subsystems will make the system easier to implement, and have performance of manageable, extendable, and maintainable.On the basis of analysis of the internal and external developments of heterogeneous information sharing technology this thesis put forward a method of distributed CORBA-based heterogeneous integrated database system. Data group coordination and concurrency control technology of the heterogeneous database based on CSCW(Computer Supported Cooperative Work) has been adopted. By this method, the system can integrate each local database system and offer inquiry services to users as a whole and at the same time enable self-administration of each subsystem keeping its own business unknown by other systems. Finally, those technologies has been used to constructing traffic information center of main hinge cities.
