A Study On The Method Of Constructing Object-Oriented Protocol Models

With the growth of diversified network technology and development of network application at full speed, existing protocol is not enough to support the new application demand and network characters, and the existing must be expanded or implemented in new way, In this case, we consider applying object-oriented thought to the network protocol, So that the existing protocol can support more new functions because of the advantage of the OO method.In this paper, TCP protocol in transmitting layer and ISO7776 protocol in data link layer was modeled using the unified modeling language (UML). At first, existing single-module protocol was decomposed to some separate models and assembled based on the object-oriented protocol model. In the end, ISO7776 protocol was partly realized using C++ language and design pattern.It was proved that it is feasible to set up object-oriented models using UML and assemble them using object-oriented protocol. It provides a kind of method to ameliorate protocol.
