This paper is carried out on the basis of the telemedicine Electrocardiogram (ECG) Monitoring system. First, the paper introduces the components of the system and their functions, collection subsystem, communication subsystem, and diagnose subsystem, especially introduces in detail signal enlarge and strain circuit, AVR microcontroller and WISM02C wireless receive and send module.wavelet is the most brilliant theory to inherit, summary and develop Fourier theory since 170 years. It is an analyzing tool playing the important function that takes over from the past and set a new course for the future and link the past to the future. This paper introduces the connection Fourier and wavelet, and expounds multi-resolution analysis and the decompose and rebuild of discrete serial. Then the paper describes 5 kinds of general wavelets, and the application of wavelet transform in the project is also introduced.Then this text analyses the characteristic of Electrocardiogram. Combined delta modulate compression and wavelet transform methods is used for compression in this paper. The discrete wavelet transform is used for compression and de-noise, and the experiment shows that the method can compress efficiently. Finally the paper explains in detail that how to choose the wavelet base in the detection of QRS-complex detection and ventricle late potential (VLP), and summarize testing result of the detection of QRS-complex detection and ventricle late potential.
