The Research Of Auto Adjustor System Of Coaxiality And Automatic Control System Of Heat Treatment For Producing Drilling Pipes

The key factor which influences quality of friction weld was founded according to analyzation of the character of friction welding machine that made in our country. Therefore, parameters optimizations of friction weld were made based on the research of the theory about it. At the same time, we developed one set of system, which can be used to adjust the height of drilling pipe body according to that of drilling joint automatically on the welding machine. The software of this system was designed in the method of program module and the hardware part was composed of SCM(80C196), interface circuit for INT input and I/O, A/D, the passage for signal collection etc. Whole system works with good stability and dependable function, assuring the coaxiality of welding drill pipes.In order to insure the quality of heat treatment for drill pipes and reduce the interference of artificial factors, we analyzed heat-treatment machine that made in our country and found out the main reason of heat-treatment stability. So we developed one set of apparatus, which can monitor the process of heat drilling pipe automatically, changed old heat-treatment equipment to be more automatic. It was made of three PLCs(made by Siemens), one industrial computer and was connected with communication wire. PLCs were individually used to control the procedure of anneal, quench, temper just on the spot .The industrial computer did some production management work far away. According to the characteristic of heat-treatment for producing new drill pipes, we developed a new type of induction heating and cooling apparatus. We also optimized the parameters of heat-treatment for new drill pipes and guaranteed heat-treatment quantity through the verification of a series of mechanical experiments.According to the research and mend above, the performance of welding and heating production line was improved vastly. We produced about 1000 metric tons new drilling pipe and got many approvals from users. It indicated that we were the first to produce new drilling pipes by native equipments.
