Research Of Jini Technology And Its Application In Metacomputing

Jini technology of Sun is a new solution in the field of distributed computing.The concept of "plug-and-play" and "self-cure" coming out with it bring the conciseness,the reliability and the flexity to the distributed system.. Jini enable Jini-based devices and resources on the network to dynamically constitute a federation,and make use each other.The first part of the thesis give a insight into the basic notions and system framework of Jini.Furthermore,the possibility and advantages of implementing Jini in the field of metacomputing is discussed.And then,,Jmeta -a metacomputing system prototype based on Jini is presented in the last part.Jmeta is a distribution metacomputing framework facing the heterogeneous network..With the ability of OS independence and dynamical self-organizing provided by Java and Jini,Jmeta make a good job in resolving the problem of heterogeneity and partial failure.And Jemta make the metacomputing more effective with three compute models:code download computing , remote computing and mobile agent computing.
