Virtual Reality and Simulation are recurrent technology of system or activity essence by computer. One of the important utilities of simulation is accident analysis by reappearing it. The main mission of simulation is to help trouble removal people reconnaissance field, calculate parameter and analyze causality fast. And with these, the reason for accident, the policy on how to avoid accident and minimize loss will be conclude. After the accident happened, the calculation that is based on kinematics and dynamic model was done and whole accident process was reappeared form time to space by computer. However, the reason for accident and damage of it also can be concluded if computer did simulation before accident happened this method was known as Virtual Accident.Accident reappearance is usually used by two ways:1, analysis method-status of post-accident is concluded by status of pre-accident.2, Simulation method-a serial of status was given before accident happened, and then result of accident was concluded by simulates accident with these statuses. The most possible assumption that closes to real result is deemed to the fact of pre-accident.The secondary beam of a 125/30t 16. 5m metallurgy crane bridge in Anyang iron and steel Corporation was damaged, and this accident was reappeared by computer. The ANSYS , a kind of FEA program, was used to build model of small carriage . The procedure of gantry beam bump with secondary beam of bridge was reappeared by running nonlinear calculation and loading program which was written by APDL program language. The closest deforming result was gotten, and the deforming of main beam, secondary beam and end beam and inner stress distribution status were calculated.The conclusion of reappearing analysis is that crane bridge be used as usual because main weld maximum stress of upper cover plate of main beam lower than yield limit though it higher than permissible stress. Inner stress of secondary beamwas over ultimate strength, and deforming is ultra big. So it was unfit for produce and secondary beam must be changed. Inner stress of end beam was less than ultimate strength though it over yield limit. The compensating plate must be welded at a rather large stress place and the whole crane bridge must be inspected periodically after its utilization.After being put into production according to previous scheme, the crane run well.
