Presently, the equipments of the in our country are dated, the level of control and operation are obsolete. The great mass of sugar-refinery boilers are still using simple instrument and in handwork. So the automation level is lower. According to the present states of the automatic control burning systems of sugar-refinery boiler in our country, this paper especially studies automatic control systems of boiler burning.Firstly, this paper analyzes the difficulties of the sugar-refinery boiler control and the reason of the unsatisfactory effect by introducing the traditional PID controller.Secondly, the mechanism and control objective of boiler burning system are analyzed. Based on this theory, the paper designs the fuel system, blasting system and deflating system. Thirdly, two major strategies are presented: one is a Fuzzy Controller with Self-adjusting of Parameters which is applied to boiler burning system; the other is a Self-Optimizing Controller which is applied to the blasting system.Lastly, the results of digital simulation are given, which shows that the fuzzy control can effectively overcome the disturbance and improve the dynamic characteristic.
