LD pumped all-solid-state laser of red, green and blue, have been relative mature in techniques, and have been commercialized. However, ultraviolet lasers of relatively shorten wavelength are seldom, only few scientific department can do it. And most of them are stay at laboratory period. While, they are just beginnings in our country. In the conditions, a deep, extensive and detail research, which majored in LD pumped 266 nm all-solid-state ultraviolet laser techniques, was made. And some important achievements are listed as following:1. The dissertation discussed the theories of second-harmonic generation for negative uniaxial optical crystal and summarized properties of nonlinear optical crystals, which are subjected to ultraviolet second-harmonic generation, and represented the Theorizational Law of Double Frequency Crystal Select (TLDFCS). At present, BBO crystal is the most subjected to commercial crystal of ultraviolet second-harmonic generation according to compared KDP, BBO, CLBO, KABO and KBBF crystals based on TLDFCS.2. The conversion efficiency formula of the flat wave for second-harmonic generation was deduced in detail. And that of the Gaussian wave for second-harmonic generation also was given in the small signal deliver. By a method for comparing, The conversion efficiency formula of the Gaussian wave for second-harmonic generation (CEFGSHG) in general circumstances, which toke accounts of walk-off effect and self- focus effect together, was attained.3. The paper gave the lens image formula for Gassian beams.4. According to the CEFGSHG, the fundamental light radius was optimized when the length of BBO crystal was constant.5. A LD pumped LBO/ BBO/ Nd: YAG 266nm all-solid-state ultraviolet laser and purple and a LD pumped KTP/ BBO/ Nd: YAG 266 nm all-solid-state ultraviolet laser were designed respectively; 1.5mW and 2.0mW average output power were obtained respectively when maximum input power of LD was 1.3 W. Reasons of being elliptical beam and 45?rotation for the beam were also explained.
