The target detection technology under the sea clutter plays an important role in both military and civilian areas. In the military area: the low velocity target detection technology affect the analyse and design of the control and guide radar of intermediate range and short range; and in the civilian areas: the radar detection of a small piece of ice (a glower) in the ocean is influence to the voyage of steamboat. This paper makes in-depth analysis and study to the target detection technology under the sea clutter. This paper studies the algorithms of sea surface target detection in three aspects. (1) detection of lowlying sea surface moving target via Hough transform (2) detection of sea surface target based on chaos (3)study the target detection under the doppler spectra sea clutter as a result of strong sea wind.In chap two, the simulative radar datas of sea surface moving target is gotten by the method of ZMNL, then the algorithm of sea surface moving target detection via Hough transform is presented, some factors that affect the capability of target detection is introduced. In chap three the chaotic dynamics of sea clutter is introducted at first, and thentraining the BP neufal network by the IPIX radar datas, the results show that the BP neuralnetwork can simulate sea clutter well, the error of one-step prediction is very little. At last amethord for the detection of signals in sea clutter is presented, which is based on the error energy of the Bp neural network. The Doppler modeling of radar sea clutter and some new detection methords is introduced in chap four. The simulative results show that these detection algorithms are effective.
