This paper proposals the research of intelligential measure & control node based fieldbus in bottom network of industrial control architecture. Fieldbus is the one of the hotspots in the field of automatization today. It is a kind of bottom network that is applied to industrial field and used to realize serial ,bilateral and multi-node communication between intelligential measure & control equipments. It has the characteristics of open, digital and multi-node communication. Nowadays, it is widely used in manufacturing, flow industry, traffic, and intelligential building. Its advantage is the characteristic of open and interchange, simple frame, saving material and cost, decrease of maintenance.This paper has chosen a kind of fieldbus which suits the application of practical project -CAN bus on the base of analysis and comparison with the influential fieldbus today, and then makes brief introduction of its characteristics. About the intelligential measure & control node, this paper recommends the composing its function modules, the work principle, the hardware frame, software design and the method of realization of each module. In the design of communication module, CAN bus and RS-485 bus are all realized, thus the system has the function of communication with several kinds of bus, is an all-purpose system. At the same time, this paper comes up the design of hardware and software of the CAN interface card of personal computer. Moreover, It uses the FPGA/CPLD technology into the hardware design of the intelligential measure & control node, so its logic function can be realized flexibly and expediently, save the space and cost, and it is propitious to the extend of hardware function.On the base of the research of intelligential measure & control node, this paper presents an applied example-tension control system of the printing machine. It introduces the principle ,the technics process and the way of realization of every part of the system. Combining with the technologicalcharacteristic and requirement of the tension control system, a distributed measure & control system composed of the intelligential measure & control node has applied in printer machine. As the case stands, this system runs steadily, controls smartly, achieves the entire function request, and incarnates the characteristic and advantage of the intelligential measure & control node.
