Computer graphics is a science which discusses how to make modeling for object, how to take illumination for the surroundings, the interactive of illumination and modeling and then make a graphics. It made great success in many fields such as appearance design, aviation simulation, medicine, especially in computer assistant design. It took great enhance in producing effective and quality.Computer graphics includes two parts, one is realistic, the other is non-photorealistic. Non-photorealistic can convey information better by omitting extraneous detail, by focusing attention on relevant features, by clarifying and simplifying shapes, or by exposing parts that are hidden. In addition, illustrations often consume less storage than realistic images, and are more easily reproduced and transmitted. Most of illustrations are made by white and black, so there have no special request for output equipment. It is wide used in fix book, iconography of technology menus and so on. This thesis use VC++ and ObjectARX programming tools to realize the shade and retouch of the simple object in the various illumination, at last use vector to display it.This thesis is composed of eight chapters, including introduction, three-dimension modeling, geometry transform, graphics vanish, illumination modeling, producing shade, making program and summarize. In the first chapter, introduce the technology method and the significance of research. In the second chapter, summary some modeling method and give some correspond graphics. In the third chapter, introduce some transform formulae and theories, such as move, rotate, enlarge. In the forth chapter vanish useless line and reduce the ambiguous of the graphics. In the fifth chapter, make use of phone modeling to build own thesis modeling, use simply objects such as cylinder and cuboid to display shade position and represent in the different illumination. The main content of the sixth chapter is about the shade, in this chapterwe give correspond support of theory about the producing of shade. At the end of this thesis, summarize the study and give the direction of the further study in the future.The option of this thesis means that the shade is different in various intensity and angle of the illumination. In order to get the shade of the object, we must decide which is the open surface and which is the hidden surface, decide the line between the open surface and the hidden surface, and then draw the shade one by one. This thesis use simple vector to represent the shade of simple object in the different illumination. This can offer interactive draw by VC++ programming tool for adjust the appearance of the object and the state of the illumination.
