Digital Emulational Hologram

Digital holography is a novel holographic technique. It is a compound technique of computer technique, space light modulator technique, image manipulation and conventional holography.This thesis presents a method to make a three-dimensional, true-color, dynamic digital emulational hologram.To make such an emulational hologram is based on the principal as follows: 1. holographic recording can reconstruct true vision of the image; 2. using two-dimensional images with parallax information to synthetic three-dimensional image; 3. using a serial of static images with temporal information to display dynamic vision; 4. reconstructing true-color by color-coded recording.The main job of the thesis focuses on how to display a dynamic process and how to reconstruct true color of the image. To make the results as perfect as possible, special dynamic process is selected. True color emulational image is got by color-coded recording.The thesis is composed of four parts. In the first chapter, the concept of digital emulational hologram and the development of display holography are introduced, as well as the main job of this thesis. In chapter 2, some basic principles of using digital holography to make emulational image are discussed, such as the principle of dynamic display and color-coded etc. In chapter 3, the process of making a digital emulational image is discussed in detail. In the last chapter, some problems are discussed. Some methods which can improve the quality of the image are suggested.
