Holographic display has the advantage of being able to reproduce the original object without aberration, which has become a hot spot in the field of information display in recent years. Among them, computer-generated hologram(CGH) is a novel hologram technology, it does not need the actual recording optical path, and it can directly simulate with the computer, so it greatly reduces the cost of making a hologram. Therefore it has gradually become the development trend in the future to produce hologram and to achieve 3D and color reproduction with CGH. Digital micromirror device(DMD) is a kind of spatial light modulators(SLM), because of its fast response, large luminous flux, high diffraction efficiency, so it is widely used in digital light processing(DLP), hologram reproduction system and other fields. In this paper, DMD is used as the optoelectronic reconstruction unit of CGH, the research work of 3D and color holographic reconstruction technique is carried out. The main research contents include the following aspects:1. Based on the structural properties of DMD, the diffraction properties of DMD are studied in detail and the distance factor is introduced according to the characteristic of the structure. The feasibility of the introduction of distance factor is verified by computer numerical simulation.2. Focus on four typical methods to generated CGH for 3D objects such as chromatography, based on point source of Fresnel zone plate method, holographic stereogram method, based on the plane wave angular spectrum method. The threedimensional object with simple depth is simulated by using the method of chromatography, and a clear three-dimensional image is obtained.3. Design and build a DMD color holographic display system without lens. By adjusting the angle of the three color lasers incident DMD, the lateral- position chromatic aberration is eliminated. By using different sampling methods, the magnification chromatic aberration is eliminated. In the end, the color image is obtained.
