Research And Implementation Of Network Management System Based On SNMPv3

Computer Network Management plays an important role in constructing, running and maintenance of the network, take charge of managing the network and offering the reliable high-quality service . This paper accords with the demand characteristic of modern network management, studies the network management and controlment tactics based on SNMPv3. The thesis has introduced the basic theory with SNMP of network management at first, analyses the structure of management system of TCP/IP network and operating mechanism of agreement standard SNMP, then analyses the improvement of the security of the agreement of SNMPv3 in depth. Because of the enlargement of the network size, the weakness of SNMP mechanism of management is fully exposed . SNMP is built up by a kind of plane type network management, the administrator is apt to become the bottleneck.Too many polls and wide distributed agent increase the expense of the network bandwidth, decrease the efficency of the network. the management information that the administrator obtained from each acts as agenting is initial data. Not only quantity is great but also needs finish machining to turn into valuable management and lay particular stress on.Solving the problem is to add the middle level between administrator and agent, Realizing multi-zone supervision, the network management of the concentrating on type will build up the network management framework changed into the level ization.CORBA is an important distributed technology, It supports many kinds of extant program languages , can use in many kinds of languages, supports the distributed object , offers the strong general interpenetration . It makes administrator connect with managed object through the method of envent driven by using CORBA as the middle level between administrator and agent. That the managed administrators were defined as communitcating object makes several kinds ofmangagement protocols can be applied to the same network management system, it offers a very good solution for overcoming the shortcoming of SNMP.Finally, according with the demand of using, for fully utilized existinging SNMP device and network management platform, this paper gives the design project that used CORBA technology to construct network management system based on SNMPv3 and part of the implementation code. In the project of design, this paper has desribed the design idea, system structure, the design of database, structure and function of each module about this system . Also, this paper gives the key C++ language code that some module functions realize yet.
