Research And Application Of Distributed Web System Based On UML

With rapid development of Internet, distributed Web system has been applied in many fields in social life. So development technology of this kind of system has become a hot field in IT.UML (Unified Modeling Language) brings great attention in software engineering, it melts into new ideas, new methods and new technology of software engineering. It not only supports object oriented analysis and designing, but also supports the whole process of software development. Researching the application of UML in various fields is one of research goals of UML. Multi-tier distributed system is a new, developing and complicated system. There are two advantages in using UML to realize multi-tier distributed system model. Firstly, it reveals and reduces risk in the early modeling process. Secondly, it helps designers control the complexity of system, and makes the structure of system be more reasonable, and improves the efficiency of exploitation.At present, there is no unified standard on how to model distributed Web system with UML. This paper puts forward a way of modeling basic elements of Web page using the extensibility mechanism of UML and built a distributed Web system using EJB technology of SUN in allusion to the disadvantage of ASP technology. In the paper, I discuss how to develop distributed component of EJB with UML and expound architecture of distributed Web system.
