| Soft-Bus is a common platform of application which is designed for the convenient integration of components by using component/architecture and main-bus technology. Soft-Bus is the outcome of hardware bus technology and the developing of software modularization, as well as the outcome of the developing of software engineering till the phase of component technology. Although the concept of Soft-Bus had been brought forward for several years, and many people had discussed its' principle, only few people practice the application's designing and realizing. This thesis discusses the component/architecture and main-bus technology in depth, combining with the developing of power plant ERP system. Then on the basis of the research of hardware bus (SCSI) architecture and theory, it realizes functions of the Soft-Bus in certain extent, and succeeds in the power plant ERP system finally. This thesis will expatiate the idea of Soft-Bus and its' functions such as fault-tolerate, load balance, transaction service, safety management and data pooling, and so on. Finally the thesis discusses the importance of Soft-Bus in power plant ERP system by the example of a manufacture technology management system in power plant.
