With the development of the electric technology and computer simulation, every large power plant is inclined to build their own simulation train system. The main reason is that: 1) all large power plant adopt DCS and the simulation system matching to the practical means costs low; 2) there are better train environment, researching the plant unit and corresponding DCS; 3) the need of almighty personnel is increased, because of the further reform of the electric system.Combined with the actual condition of the plant simulator, this paper analyzes the native and abroad development of the simulation device. The main content is followed:â‘  Introducing the characteristics and managing specialties of the simulator project in detail;â‘¡ Introducing the simulation object, describing the hardware, software structure and functions of the simulation object;â‘¢ Describing the exploitation process and mathematic model of the main steam, reheater, by-pass system, regenerative heater extraction, deareator, pipes, network system and pumps.â‘£ Analyzing the benefit of the plant in brief.According to the exploitation of the simulator, the main conclusion can be made:â‘  With regard to the power, the exploitation of the simulation train system is neither a common engineering project, nor a technological project. In the management mode, the relation of the specialty,power and simulation train system should draw more attention. Only sufficiently understanding and communicating every aspect, the quality, schedule and profit of the project can be guaranteed.â‘¡ To most old power plant (the operation system has changed to DCS now), when the simulation range is confirmed, the contradiction of the system integrality and investment should accurately be disposed.â‘¢ During the developing process of simulation model, the relation can be realized deeply between factual running parameter and design parameter,between maintenance and running.â‘£ Through the actual operator of simulation over one year and the impact at present, it can be seen that the exploitation of the simulation system is successful.
