Wireless communication takes up the most important position in modern communications and is widely applied in business, weather forecast, military communication, civil communication and other regions. Software radio is a novel wireless communications technology, which is based on a versatile programmable platform to realize all kinds of communications criterions and to meet the need of many increasing new molds and functions. Radio systems have migrated from analog to digital in several ways including system controlling to source and channel coding to hardware techniques. Recent progress in radio prototype has extended the horizons of radio technology by liberating chronics dependence on hard-wired characteristics including frequency band, channel bandwidth, and channel coding. These efforts have led us to the feasibility of dynamically programmable receivers system of software radio.This paper discusses the realization of the software radio receiver. The architectures of the receiver are RF pass band direct sampling and IF pass-band sampling with high-speed analog to digital converter after RF to IF conversion. The first kind of architecturesis hard to realize because of the requisition of devices is too high.+ Then it will do some other digital process. The evolution ofprogrammable hardware and increased flexibility via increased programmability has been accomplished by a combination of techniques. These include multi-band antenna and RF conversion, wideband analog to digital (A/D), and digital to analog (D/A) conversion.This paper first expatiates on the theory of software radio, discussing the Multi-rate Digital Signal Processing, High-speed Data Acquisitions, Digital Product Detector and Digital Signal Demodulation. Then on the basis of those, a model of software radio receiver is given. Operations are determined using hardware whose configuration is under software control. Finally, the circuits are realized with simulation in order to prove the discussed schemes.
