The Research Of The Still Digital Image Transmission By SMS Of The CDMA Mobile Cellular Telecommunications System

In this paper, after the research of the paging channel,No.7 signal system, the traffic model and the calculation of the system configuration in the short message center ,a transimission methed of the still digital image by the short message of the CDMA mobile cellular telecommunications system is presented.During the procedure of the still digital image compression, first, we make a JPEG algorithm to the input general still digital image; then, we make a fractal image compression based on wavelet coefficient cubtrees to the JPEG image.Experiment results and systematic simulate show that this scheme can obtain high compression ratio while keeping certain reconstruction image quality, so that we can reach the object of the transimission of the still digital image by the short message of the CDMA mobile cellular telecommunications system.
