The increasing market competition and customization make more and more enterprises organize the production quickly according to product orders. The dissertation built up a function model and an information model of the integrated system of products design and data management through the analysis on the character of order-oriented enterprises and the current conditions of production design and data management of these enterprises. Meanwhile an overall function framework and a physical database model of the integrated system are designed, and related software is developed. Hence problems on the traditional serial management are solved such as too long designing cycle, frequent modification, bad data consistency, security and share ability, difficult in query etc.The dissertation has a research on concurrent design model of order-oriented enterprises. An idea that group product design into new product development and order product design quickly, to short the period of order product design and optimize the structure of enterprise's products. The order's authenticity, rationality, feasibility, economy and product's price and delivery are deeply analyzed. The order is decomposed on the level of products and parts. A method to build up product feature model by integration of feature recognition and the definition of interact feature is put forward, and using STEP files to realize feature recognition and mapping. Simulation experiment has proved the method to be feasible. Through process agile design subsystem, enterprises' information share is intensified, and work mode is changed, and cooperation capability is enhanced. The structure mode and database connection method of the system is deeply analysis. A basic framework of product data management subsystem is built up. Thus the main function of product structure and configuration management and the function of part and component classified collecting management are realized. Through example test proved the system to be useful and efficient.
