By investigating all arithmetic of JPEG,form a new compression system ameliorating some arithmetic. In the thesis,using DCT table substitute DCT calculate,realize to reduce operation times of compute' arithmetic. As well as,using vector operation substitute Scale operation in order to improve compression rate condition on keeping on distortion. By tool of VC++ simulate the result of research. Finally,compared with JPEG,we can draw on a condition:using DCT table substitute DCT calculate and using vector operation substitute Scale operation which can attain that is high compression rate and steady distortion. So this compression system is a method that can optimize JPEG.
