The Design Of Academic Journal Cooperative Publication System

In recent years, along with the development of Internet technique, information application is spread, and many new forms of use emerged. Traditional periodical publishing is faced up to rigorous challenge.In the practice editing work of scholarship periodical ,the author found it is very difficult to resolve some problems in the old publishing model. So in this article, we researched on the scholarship periodical co-editing, analyzed the modal of co-editing and then bring upped a periodical co-editing. model based on CSCW( Computer Supported Cooperative Work) and XML theories and technique . At last, according to this model we develop a viable prototype system.In the article, we put forward the concept of co-editing, introduced and compared related techniques. We also give out the formalized description of CSCW and workflow. And then we give a solution of periodical co-editing based on the Web workflow. This method realized the cross-platform usage. And we defined the document type of scholarship article in XML. In this solution, we save the integrated XML document in a RDBMS field and introduced how to query the saved XML document. By this standard, we can author once and publish many forms.
