| How to build robust, scalable information publishing model has been a discussed problem in the distributed comprting fields. The appearance of Intranet brings the new energy to the distributed computing. The exploitation and maintenance of Intranet mainly focus on the web server, while the client side browser has unique interface. Thus it is easy for us to operate over various platforms. Intranet can be usde independently, also can be connected to Internet, so it becomes the ideal model of distributed compuing and information publishing. The background of this paper is the construction of Intranet of computer science department. This paper discusses the structure and key technique of Intranet, discusses the problen about network management and network security, and introduces a frame of a typical Intranet.. This paper discusses the main information publishing technique on Intranet, mainly explores the information publishing technique based on Java. According to the above results, *e designed a teaching system based on Intranet. The Intranet has high speed, wide bandwidth and can transmit the multi-media information. Thus the system is real-time and rich.In information publishing fields, the heterogeneity is inevitable. CORBA and Java overcome the shortcoming of WWW from the various angles. CORBA provides the interface that has notying to do with its implements, the ability to access the object that was implemented by otyer languages and the location transparency, rich CORBA facilities and CORBA services. Java overcomes the problem of Internet, which is lack of programming support. The distributed computing technology represented by CORBA can integrate all kinds of application and it is the base of multi-globe model. CORBA provides powerful object engine for internet/intranet.This paper discusses the WWWinformation-publish ing technology based on CORBA. As for the problem of how to implement the interfacebetween WWW and database, we bring forward a set of whole framework using CORBA, thus greatly improve the traditional WWW structure and effectively solve the cooperation of databases. In the end, this paper points out that the Object Web is the future of WWW. |
