On the basic of Global Positioning System (GPS), this paper researches GPS and Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (SINS). By means of establishing the mathematical model of GPS/SINS integrated navigation system, GPS/SINS integrated data processing technology based on Kalman Filter is investigated.. ,In this paper, an integrated navigation system composed of Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (SINS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) was simulated for the purpose of testing the effect of this combination and compare the different performance of two kinds of Kalman Filters between the position of Open loop and Close loop.According to the needs of GPS/SINS integrated navigation algorithm, the error models of GPS and SINS are studied respectively. The Autoregressive (AR) models and Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA) models of GPS positioning error are established based on the analysis of the properties of static GPS positioning error data. And the neural network method to determine the AR model parameters is given. Also, the attitude algorithm of the Strapdown inertial System of shipboard missile is investigated. On the basis of analysis the SINS error model, computer simulation of the SINS error are given in accordance with the stochastic error of the inertial instruments.The paper designs a type of circuit which combines GPS receiver with computer by means of the ICL232 integration chip. It achieves deliver and receiver at the same time. It gives receiver program chart.By means of establishing the mathematical model of GPS integrated navigation system, it studies Geometrical Dilution of Precision (GDOP) and Kalman Filter. We simulate them by supplying to some examples. Simulation result has shown the practicality of the algorithm.Then it studies precision of GPS/SINS integrated navigation system positioning and survey velocity. Finally it analyses their relations.
