With the improving constantly of speed of the computer, the development of Digital Image Process technology is faster and faster,. The application in the national economy and the people' s livelihood of detection technique of particle based on Digital Image Process is wider and wider too. The speed and accuracy of improving the detection technique of particle seem more and more important.Thesis recommends the computer micrograph gathering system using a digital camera and particle measurement techniques based on Digital Image Process technology in detail . Set up each to particle include coal carry on form signify and particle size measure on this foundation. This system use to facing target develop and regard as the basic data structure with particle every by method under the enviroment of VC++6. 0. The system has characteristices of high-efficient , accurate and easy to use because it realizes the functions of automatic revise, automatic cutting apart, automatic edge following, automatic measuring, automatic storing of particle etc, can have been heavy to raise the speed and accuracy of particle measurement .reduce the artificial error, lighten labour intensity of measuring personnel and workload .Thesis analyses emphatically the pretreatment of image , measuring algorithm and realizing in area, perimeter, particle size Of particle. The characteristic measured to the image at the same time , It have adopted the technology, such as image region selecting, image demarcating, particle alternative filtration of the image , picture single analysing, statistical analysis of the image of absolute unit.
