Journalism Photograhy,in western countries,is used as a window to demonstrate objects such as humanity and inhumanity. In real life, however, contradictions often arise from the conflicts between the requirement of journalists and mass media to produce the real videos and that of the photograhed to have their right to privacy respected.By adopting the methodology of ethics inference, this thesis constructs a triangle-balanced modal available for video-ethics of Western Commercial Society;meanwhile,it borrows cases to explore the factors which cause the imbalance of the video-ethics;additionally,it suggests measures possible to maintain the balance of allegiances among the following perspectives:the allegiance to commercial benefits in media organizations, the allegiance to the acknowledgement right and news report to the audience, the allegiance of the right to privacy of the photographed.Part One are problems arising. Illustrating the conflict of privacy underlying in the photograph Tomoko in her Bath,(1972) as a case,it not only reflects how video-ethics lost its balance in the commercial society of western Countries, but also,it suggests how to guarantee the recover of the balance.Part Two is analysis. By constructing a balance graph of Video-Ethics,it elaborates the diverse factors which lead to the imbalance the graph.Part Three is a solution. It adopts several principles of ethics to illustrate the measures to maintain this balance.Part Four is a conclusion. From the operational dimension,it discusses the principles abided by the Western mass media and Professional Journalists when they encounter the conflicts between their own profits and the social responsibilities they have to shoulder.
