researches and develops the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system of horomill . it first discusses the theories and the methods usually used in fault diagnosis system ,and develops the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system of horomill based on the features of horomill and the construction of multilevel sub-system. In the design ,the author divides the system into seven part ,namely, measuring sub-system , monitoring sub-system , communication sub-system ,local networks sub-system, monitoring sub-system and sub-system diagnosis sub-system, knowledge obtaining and studying subsystem , printing sub-system .The thesis covers the choice, field arrangement and signal processing circuit of the sensor of temperature, pressure , displacement and vibrating; it also covers the hardware composition of monitoring and diagnosing sub-system and software flow chart . In the design , owning to the adoption of CAN bus and other relative measurements, the abilities of anti-disturbance and fault monitoring of the system have been greatly improved; owning to the adoption of PTXC ,the system gains many excellent features and meets the need of being real-time ,and most importantly ,the management of the system has been improved.The condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system can give horomills real-time monitoring and diagnose all kinds of abnormal phenomena and faults so as to guarantee the safely and smooth operation of the device, to bring the designing capacity of the system into full play, and at the sametime, maintenance and renewal of the device can be available.
