Research On Appliocation Of GPS/GSM System

With the development of computer, communication, and information technologies, the great potential of using these new technologies to accomplish high-speed data collection and processing, automatization of production and reducing the work tasks is becoming to be realized. As a kind of new timing, measuring distance, navigation and positioning system, the technology of GPS is gradually used in traffic and other fields. But how to integrate GPS and modern communication technologies effectively to attain high-speed and precise positioning is still one of research hotshots.Based on this, GSM short message service is put forward in this paper, which is used in the vehicle-dispatching system to accomplish transferring positioning information effectively. After analyzing this problem deeply, the key technology, tactic and realization project of trucks-carrying unit are researched.
