This paper focuses on the research of building the graph and image database in the distributed architecture. It pays main attention on the building and implementation of the graph and image managing and application system on the distributed computing platform of Windows DNA. The system realized the transmitting, storing and using of graph and image data through network. Based on the semantic information provided by the user, the system performs the Semantic Content-Based Retrieval, extracts proper images from the database and merges together in one page. At last, the system sends the explainable page to the client. In the database designing, this paper researches the design method, which combines expended relational data model and object 梤elational data model, and realized the graph and image database. Facing the character of the distributed application system, the paper researches the security problem in the transmitting data through network, and invented a new encryption and decryption algorithm and secret key managing system. The algorithm is used in the system and satisfied the security need of the system. This paper realizes a distributed application of the graph and image data system in the distant teaching.
