Obtained the zygotes by means of artificial fertilization. Conducted the subgroup experimental of embryo fusion. Employing frequency doubling of Nd:YAG laser. Compared the growth speed and cold-resistant ability of fusion fishes with those of the contrast fishes. The survival rate in the condition of 4P was the highest. But the rate of fusion in the condition of 6P was the highest. The growth speed of fusion fishes was faster than the contrast fishes. The critical temperature of fusion fishes lowered about 1.5-2℃ than that of the contrast fishes. Finally, analyses and discusses the above results of experiment, put forwards several unsolved questions and directions of future studies.Compares the method of cell fusion induced by laser microbeam with induced by virus, PEG, electric field pulse. Especially, discusses the mechanisms of laser fusion. As a result of optical breakdown, reversible micropores emerge on the surface of both the cells.
