Study Of Detecting Algorithms In Software Receivers

This paper explains the concept of software radios and its architecture, technologies, etc . Wideband A/D converters and DSP chips/cores play central roles in the software radio . By means of the software radios, any communication functions will be performed in the same hardware p~atform We place emphasis on demodulating algorithms of AM,FM, DPSK and DQPSK in a software receiver. A simplified detecting algorithm is presented for narrow-band FM . After theoretical analysis, those algorithms had been implemented through TI DSP chips .
