In recent ten years great achievement on track and field has been made by our athletes, especially in women's term, but the men's ability hasn't made an obvious improvement and capability of men's javelin throwers is always stagnant, or even falls back. It is very difficult for the male javelin throwers to surpass 80 meters, which should be given close attention by the coaches, athletes, researchers and leaders. We should try our best to change this unsatisfied situation. The factors are as follows: on one hand, the lagging technology, particularly the last spurt. Many essays should focus on this problem in order that all the abilities of javelin trainers can be improved and athletes'potential can be explored.
