The setting of academic degree and graduate education that is specialized catalogs of subjects is the foundation of graduate students education structure system;and the basis for recruiting and training graduate students, who will be awarded appropriate academic degree. Subject catalogs reflect national economic and social development levels, division of labor, industrial structures in different periods, as well as requirements about the types,specifications,knowledge,ability and other aspect of talents from society.China has enacted specialized catalogs of subjects three times in large scale, but which still can not to adapt to the rapid development of science,technology and socio-economic completely. In this subject, the thesis will have an intensive analysis of the problems of academic catalog setting of graduate students'education; to solve problems and provide system principles and definition standards according to the scientific, perspective, logic, inheritance, adaptation, stability and flexibility of subject setting. It will provide useful information for subjects setting according to classes, primary grade or second grade.
