Research On College Students' Moral Education In Harmonious Socialist Society

In recent years, colleges in our country continue to strengthen their moral education of students, which has played an important role for students to improve their moral capacity. This also contributes to promote our socialist spiritual civilization and the harmonious campus as well as the construction of a harmonious society. However, through the investigation, we found there are still some deficiencies in moral education of college students, thus affecting the further development of moral education. These deficiencies are highlighted in those aspects: inaccurate understanding of the essence of moral; Value diversity; lack of practice and innovation in moral education; the contents and forms of moral education are backward; Self-education becomes a mere formality; moral education system and safeguard mechanism are not sound and yet to improve. To solve the above problems existing in reality, in the guidance of the central document 16, this paper deeply analyses the main causes of these problems. The causes are as follows:market economy's negative impact on moral education; weakening of moral education and lack of innovation in schools; family education lag behind the pace of social transformation; weak points in college students yet to improve; proliferation of mass media disrupts the lives of college students. In View of the above factors, social, schools and families should work together to improve moral education of college students by means of making education goals clear, enriching moral education content and enhancing safeguard mechanism of moral education. On the basis of this, it is necessary for all aspects to play their respective parts and work together to improve moral education, so as to keep pace with the times and turn out excellent students for China's socialist construction.
