In 2009, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially approved that China Mobile, China Unicom, China Mobile Communications Corporation could increase TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, CDMA2000 licenses business. China's third generation mobile communication came into the overall development phase. In this trend, to explore the educational value of 3G has become prominent in the field of educational technology.Based on the theoretical and empirical research of adult learning, ubiquitous learning, and 3G technology, this paper proposes that 3G laptop devices can impact on adult learning. This paper analyzes the influence dimension of 3G notebook terminal in terms of learning adaptability, individual learning, real time learning, continuous learning, and collaborative learning. It is found that 3G notebook terminal promotes adult learning. Learning time gets more flexible, learning space gets more extensive, learning resources get richer, and learning styles get more diversified.The core issue is to explore and analyze the effects of 3G Laptop Terminal on the ubiquitous learning of adults. By using questionnaires, a group of 3G Laptops Terminal users were investigated, using time as a variable to depict the change of the learning experience, learning adaptability, real time learning, continuous learning, collaborative learning, innovative learning, and learning resources. Three users were interviewed who has used 3G laptop for more than six months. The pre-use and after-use situations are compared to prove the changes that were brought by the 3G laptop to adult learning. The results showed that with the increased use of time, learners have good learning experience, ubiquitous learning is gradually taking shape, and learning concept is gradually improving. That demonstrates the ubiquitous learning is more suitable for adult learner in 3G environment and helpful in optimizing learning effect. However, the current study is still in the exploratory stage, and there are many issues worthy of our in-depth study, such as the improvement of learning theory, technology development, and teaching resources.
