Influence Of Network Culture On The Education Of Values Of The High Students

We have gone into a new age, and Internet has increasingly become vital information resources. Its utility ranges from all fields of our society to each corner of people's lives. High school students are those who are influenced most greatly. It is their sensitivity to and concern about new knowledge and new information that makes Internet culture spread on campus and combined with campus culture. Thus, network culture has emerged. With the rapid development of socialist market economy and Internet information technology, high school students' values also take on some new features. This paper makes a detailed analysis of the impact of web culture on high school students' values by introducing major characteristics of network culture and values of high school students. It concretely portrays the positive influences of campus network culture on high school students' values in the following perspectives.The article is divided into four parts. First, network culture enlarges the ranges of and approaches to high school students' participation in politics, beneficial to the formation of their concepts of political democracy.Second, it advocates equal dialogue which is helpful to the construction of the ideas of equality among high school students.Third, it lays great emphasis on ideological innovation, and enhances the development of high school students' individuality. Finally , it presents a new set of ethics, putting forward the ethical progress of high school students it opens a new page of cult of reading books, seeking knowledge and causing the reform of educational values. However, network culture also brings some negative effects on those high school students whose views of world and values have not been stably established. Therefore, the author of this thesis takes the view as follows. Schools should make full use of the positive influence of Internet and avoid or eradicate the negative influence on high school students and take advantage of Internet to cultivate and strengthen their consciousness of democracy and equal participation by advocating socialist values of democracy and equality. Then, we should transform the modes of educational thoughts and reinforce the education for high school students' personalities in the context of campus network culture and focus on ethic education of network through net management with ethic, operation and legal operation combined together. We will put forward some suggestions about the students'values from many aspects such as schools and communities, government and the internet itself.
