Abstract Instructors in the new century facing unprecedented challenges, the rapid development of science and technology, network information, rapidly changing, complex and diverse interests that have made the current college students of the ideas and concepts, the ideas of the value of diversity trends。As an ideological and political education and students engaged in the work of counselors, of course, the need for needy student, to resolve psychological problems, employment guidance and consultation work, counselor of the job function and scope of work to solve new problems with the process of gradually expanding , counselor responsibilities and roles are from the original ideological and political education to develop new requirements and positioning. College counselor ranks, always carried out along the appropriate path. Under the new situation, college counselor ranks paths based on the philosophy and culture, is mainly reflected in three aspects: First, they must adhere to people-oriented, which is building the ranks of college instructor guiding ideology; second, we must follow the law of growth of talent, which is College Instructors inherent requirements; Third, we must adhere to the scientific theory as a guide, which is building the ranks of college counselors an inevitable requirement.Establish and improve incentives for college instructors, mainly from the following aspects: First, raise the pay level counselors to enable them to enjoy the full-time equivalent teachers in the remuneration packages. To improve the remuneration levels of counselors, in the post allowance, special work allowance, recognition awards, etc. give it preferential treatment to improve all aspects of the conditions that eliminate the counselor to worry about. Second, career management is an important part of human resource management is one of headteachers and to instructors in order to stabilize the ranks of the specialized and professional development, college instructors should be based on the ranks of their own characteristics to build an effective career management system to meet the counselor self-needs, mobilize the enthusiasm of the work. Third, optimizing the evaluation mechanism and college counselors update transfer mechanism. This is not just compare the work of counselors, evaluation and found that more counselors who act against the effectiveness of process control and incentives, supervision and evaluation system is sound for instructors continuously improve their quality, give full play to their initiative and creativity strengthen and improve the working methods of the effective ways.
